SILA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Aware of the fact that the educational conditions were not satisfactory in the lands where the series Sıla was filmed, Most Production decided to carry out the Sila Elementary School project in 2007. It was the beginning of a new way of life for the children of the Söğütlü village of Mardin's Nusaybin county. Currently educational support is provided for 400 children. After making waves with their achievements in sports, the school’s girl basketball team earns the right to take part in the Turkish championship events under the Minor Girls and Girl’s Youth categories every year

SILA HEALTH CLINIC AND SILA CULTURAL CENTER

Aware of the fact that the health services were not satisfactory in the lands where the series Sıla was filmed, Most Production decided to carry out the Sila Health Clinic project in 2008. Initiated at the Pirinçli village of Mardin’s Derik county, the Sila Health Clinic serves not only the village of Pirinçli but also the surrounding 15 villages and 30 hamlets. Established in Nüsaybin a district of Mardin, the Gül Oğuz Cultural Center not only encourages regional progress in arts such as music and photography but also opens its doors to all with its library.

WHERE WORDS FAIL

The Turkish Daily newspaper Hürriyet initiated the “No! To Domestic Violence” campaign in order to draw attention to and contribute towards the resolution of domestic violence. Special education buses provided training in Istanbul and many Anatolian cities. Turkey’s first and only 24/7 helpline was established and received 24,500 calls in a matter of 3 years. The expert psychologist who answered the calls talked to 11,102 people. Furthermore two album were released in collaboration with leading Turkish musicians under the title Güldünya Songs .

LIGHT RISES FROM THE EAST

The photo exhibition was held at the Sakıp Sabancı Kandilli Education and Culture Center - Adile Sultan Palace on Janurary 29th 2008 and all proceeds were donated to the Sıla Elementary School.

FILMS TO SING

Turkey’s favourite performers took stage at the “Films to Sing” concert, hosted by the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Turkish cinema. All proceeds of the event were donated to support the education of 20,000 elementary school students.

A NIGHT WORTH 40 YEARS

“A Night Worth 40 Years” concert was organized under the joint coordination of the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey and Most Production and all proceeds of the event were donated to support the education of 10,000 children.

NİLÜFER CONCERT

Celebrated artist Nilüfer took stage along with 12 other performers within the scope of Turkish daily newspaper Hürriyet’s “No! To Domestic Violence” campaign.
